The editor of MRM is a woman who wears many hats. In her own words, she is a “Mother. Wife. Writer and Netflixer” in that order. A journalism graduate and an HR post-graduate, Harsha has always been interested in people and their stories. Having met a wide variety of people through her travel, summer schooling in Copenhagen and workplaces such as Infosys, Harsha has learnt to accept and celebrate people from different backgrounds and cultures without any judgment. That is what makes it easy for people to spill their beans to her!
Manisha Bhandari, our writer-contributor empowers individuals to overcome personal obstacles and live a life of abundance. She has tremendous experience both as a writer and as a meditation+stress management trainer for 7 years. Till date, she has addressed over 2500 people on the benefits of living a stress-free life and taught 35 Happiness Workshops by The Art of Living transforming people’s lives for better. She has a happy marriage of 5 years and stays in Ahmedabad with her husband and in-laws.
Rucha Shukla is a media professional who has a love-hate affair with writing since she feels she’s a good writer but the number of followers on her blog say otherwise. Recently married and very much in love, she’s thrilled to be an MRM contributor as it allows her to indulge in her most favourite activity: Getting insights into real, authentic, sometimes wrong and at other times wronged people. But she doesn’t do small talk since she believes anything worthwhile that needs to be said requires time and proper sentences.
Janya quit her high-paying media job in 2016 to dabble in entrepreneurship. She is the founder and owner of Chal Haat, a woman’s apparel online business based out of Mumbai. Being from a family of lawyers, Janya jokes that she has had distant education in law all her life, thanks to her parents who are both practising advocates and her grandfather who was an illustrious lawyer in Mumbai. Communicating with people and articulating thoughts convincingly comes naturally to Janya who is a post-graduate in Marketing. MRM is her first official stint at writing, and she cannot wait to tell stories that need to be told.
Dr Marianne Furtado de Nazareth is a media professional who devotes her time writing for several relationship and religious magazines including Tabor, a religious magazine out of Bangalore and an online website called Indian Catholic Matters. Formerly the Assistant Editor at the Deccan Herald Bangalore, she now works as a freelancer. She recently authored her third book called - A Bend in the River of Life that released in February 2019 by Leadstart Publishers. As a veteran writer with more than 3 decades of experience, she is a master interviewer with unique insights into people and their lives.
Mayurika Das Biswas is a Counseling Psychologist helping people in their pursuit of happiness. She has a Masters' Degree in Psychology from SNDT University and has done an advanced certification course in Application of REBT from INVIVO. For the past 6 years, she is attached with Sunshine Wellness Center, which is a rehabilitation center in Vasai along with a thriving private practice for 9 years. She has a counselling experience of over 10 years, and her areas of expertise are adolescent counselling, marriage counselling and addiction counselling. She conducts workshops in parenting, teacher training, and motivation for several schools and colleges like the various Eurokids and Treehouse schools in Mumbai. Her thoughts and articles are often printed in the Gujarati Midday. In the past, she has done staff training programs for hospitals like Purohit Hospital- Borivali, Zoom Health Care, and Charnock Hospital, Kolkata.
Zeenaida Gracias is a corporate trainer with 12 years of rich and diverse experience. Certified from City & Guild, UK and Dale Carnegie Institute, USA, Zeenaida has developed expertise in psychometric testing, conflict management and interpersonal skills. Along with a thriving career, she invests her time teaching underprivileged kids and kids to single parents and enjoys contributing to various community journals. Zeenaida manages her role of being a homemaker with as much ease and sass as she does of a trainer. But her most favourite role is indisputably being the best mom to two adorable kids.
